" I HAD MY CAMERA BOUT 2MONTHS BEFORE IT STOP WORKIN. I SHIPPED IT TO BE REPAIRED BECAUSE IT "SUPPOSLY" HAD WARRANTY.tHE DAMAGE WAS NOT CAUSE BY ME, BUT BY DEFECT. OF COURSE THEY WILL NOT REPAIR THE CAMERA, SO WHAT GOOD IS IT TO PURCHASE WARRANTY. BUT I WILL NEVER NEVER BUT THIS BRAND AGAIN. | " Took my old XL2 camcorder for repairs and they quoted me almost the exact same price that Canon did. And since i needed to have the XL2 ASAP for an event. i had repaired at camera service pro. They did a very fast and great job on the repairs. Also the estimate was very fast as well they called me the very next day to let me know what was wrong and how much it costs. Great place, great service. Will be back if any of my other gears decides to quit out on me. " |

| " I brought in my Sony HD90 Handy cam because the carriage mechanism would not close.I left the camera there for several days so they could evaluate the problem and give me a cost for repair. Camera service center told me it would cost $270.00 for repair. Because the camera is older and hardly worth that much, I decideded to not have the camera repaired and took the camera home. Later that week a friend told me about the Sony repair place in Laredo, Texas. I called for a second opinion and lo and behold, fellow on the other end of the line told me to get a paperclip or pen and push and hold a tiny "reset" button on the door of the camera. It worked! The camera is working fine and it cost me nothing! I'm not sure if the guy at Camera Service Company was dishonest or not qualified, but either way I will never patronize this establishment again. You would think someone who advertizes Sony camera repair would know about a reset button. That would have been an easy $270.00 if I had decided to let them "repair" it.Always get a second opinion! " |

" I was so pleased to find out that Camera Service Company is a Nikon authorized repair service recommended by Nikon. They were very understanding about my need to get my D300 repaired and back in service for an important photo shoot the following week. My camera and 300mm lens (which was an additional repair/service job) was in and out in three days well before the expected estimated date. I am so glad to know they are truly professional and I can depend on them for any future repair issues. I prefer going to Camera Service Co. for face-to-face quick results than sending my equipment to Nikon which could take weeks.
