How much do you charge for estimates?

Our Estimates are always free.

Do I need to make an appointment to bring in my camera for repair or cleaning?

No, you do not need an appointment for a camera cleaning or to drop off your repair.

How do I pay for my repair?

Camera service requires full payment before any repair work will begin. We accept all credit cards, cash, and checks.

We will only accept PO’s from Government Businesses and Schools. Payments are generally collected over the phone once the estimate is approved.

What is required to have a camera repaired under the manufacturer's warranty?

We can take care of your Nikon manufacturers warranty in house!

Just bring a copy of the original sales receipt with you and we will take care of the rest.

What Camera equipment do you sell?

We specialize in repairs done right, so we do not have a lot of time for sales.

There are a few used lenses and film bodies in our lobby available if you would ever like to come by and check them out.

Can you sell me the part I need?

In order to maintain our authorization with the manufacturer, we are unable to sell any parts to consumers

What is the charge for return shipping?

Returns are sent via UPS with full replacement value insurance. We recycle your packaging materials in order to keep the cost to a minimum.

What is your companies warranty policy?

In the unlikely event your repair isn’t’t done right the first time, Camera Service offers a 3 month warranty on parts and labor.

How long will you take to repair my equipment?

Our normal turn around time for repairs is 7 – 10 days. We offer a no charge rush service and strive to have all repairs done as quickly as possible. All repairs are done in house and most parts are kept in stock. There are occasions were times may be acceded due to parts having to be ordered.

Are repairs done in-house, or shipped to other repair facilities?

We fix 99% of all equipment in house. If there is something that must go to the factory you will be informed before it is sent, and we can handle the factory repair on your behalf.

Where are you located?

We are located just north of 285 and Exit 16 (Atlanta Road) Inbetween Pine St. and Cumberland Boulevard on the left with the Oakdale ACE Hardware.

Do you buy used equipment or accept trade-ins?

We are not a retail facility, and only buy equipment on very rare occasions.
