Quick answers to the questions we hear most often — so you can reach out with confidence.
What happens after I submit my repair request?
A factory-trained technician reviews your submission and contacts you within one business day with a diagnostic overview and a written repair estimate. No work begins until you approve the quote.
Is the initial estimate really free?
Yes. There is no charge for the initial assessment and estimate. You are only invoiced if you approve the repair and we proceed with the work.
Can I drop off my camera in person?
Yes — our Atlanta shop accepts in-person drop-offs during business hours, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. No appointment is needed for drop-off.
How does nationwide mail-in repair work?
Pack your equipment securely and ship it to our Atlanta facility. We recommend insuring the shipment for its replacement value. Once received, we inspect it, provide a written estimate, and return it fully repaired and tested — typically within 5–10 business days depending on parts availability and service complexity.
How long does a typical repair take?
Most standard repairs — sensor cleaning, lens calibration, DSLR servicing — are completed within 3–7 business days after estimate approval. Complex restorations or cinema equipment repairs may take longer. Your technician will give you a realistic timeline with your estimate.
Do you service all camera brands and models?
Yes. We repair all major brands including Canon, Nikon, Sony, Leica, Hasselblad, Olympus, Pentax, Zeiss, Mamiya, Rollei, and more — digital, film, and cinema formats.
